Is this normal? Tell me no!
So, my Harrison, my lovely, easy, sleeps anytime he's horizontal 18 m/o has stopped napping. Just up and stopped. About 6 weeks ago he was cutting all four molars (or whatever those big ones are) and I think that's where the trouble started. But he's gone from two long naps a day to ... nothing. I want to try having him nap with his brother instead of in his PNP in our bathroom, but he will literally scream bloody murder for sometimes 25 minutes, then wake up screaming, or he will scream for over an hour. Why??? Is it possible to go from two long naps to no naps at all? I know he's tired, as he'll fall asleep in the car at nap time. What is going on?

It sounds like he's definitely tired, Danielle. This happened with Gavin as well for a brief period of time as he transitioned to one nap at about 17 1/2 months. He finally got into a routine after a couple of weeks. Good luck!
Have you tried pushing the morning nap later (i.e. keep him up for a while and try the midday single nap) just to see if he won't fight it then? I did that with Luke as an experiment one day and he konked right out, although he only slept 1.5 hrs so he was short on sleep overall.
We are in one nap/two nap limbo ourselves but the nap strike---that's a new one to me. What is up, Harry???
yep, that's where we are now. I know he's not on two naps anymore, but he pretty much refuses the one nap. NOT cool. Sometimes he'll scream himself to sleep and be down for 1 hour. But that doesn't cut it.
